In this circular walk, starting from the seaside at Kottes, we climb for one hour up to Trikeri square, where we can have a stop for refreshments. Walking through the village's narrow streets we pass from Agia Triada church (in which Napoleon's throne lies) and from Vigla viewpoint, enjoying the spectacular view. Walking on a narrow asphalt, then a wider one and then on earthroad, we descend to the lighthouse (Faros in greek) located at cape Kavoulia a the entrance of Pagasitic gulf. Walking now on a path-track following the coastline (offering chances for a swim) we get to Agia Kyriaki harbour. From there we climb the old kalderimi to Trikeri and then continue back to Kottes, where we can swim and eat at the tavernas. This full walk will take about 5 hours, depending on stops. There is also an option for a shorter walk lasting 3 hours, if we skip Kottes altogether. In this case, it is preferable to start from Agia Kyriaki, climb to Trikeri by the kalderimi, descend via Vigla to the lighthouse and then return to Agia Kyriaki, where there are places to eat and stay.
