A circular route starting from and returning to Kato Kerasia, most of it on a path in a forest of oaks. Suitable mainly for winter, from October to March-April, as we move at low altitudes and there are a few pieces with shade. Net walking time 5.45΄, a total of 6.5-7 hours with stops. Marking with red marks and some signs. Starting from the church in Kato Kerasia, we first ascend following the route to Leschiani, but at 1100 meters, walking on a dirt road, go right at the intersection ignoring the sign and after fifty meters we climb to the right bank of the road on a path that leads us to Volos-Kerasia. After 300 meters on the asphalt we go a little to the left in the alley in an estate where there is a hut and we walk following a dry stone, going in parallel and a little to the left of the asphalt which is at a distance of 30-40 meters. In a little while we find the path in vegetation at the border of two estates (from the one that is next to the asphalt and the one below). We follow the route to the bridge of Louzinikos (the old road that the people of Kerasia and the Venetians took to go to Volos). From there we continue northwest to the village of Kapourna (Glafyra) and return to Kerasia from the path overlooking Carla. If we want the route to be shorter by 1.5 hours, we can stop on the asphalt in Kapourna (Glafyra) and take the bus. In Kato Kerasia there is a restaurant in the square all year round, while there is a regular bus service.
