The City Museum
The City Museum is the only museum of contemporary life and culture in Greece.
The museum is located in the "Palia" district, and a part of the castle of Paleon can still be seen in its courtyard. It is housed in the former Papadou tobacco warehouse, which was built in 1920 and renovated in 2014. At the City Museum the visitor will learn about the life stories of the people of the city through everyday objects and artifacts. The museum has areas which can be booked for events.
